Amelia Escobar

Our dearly beloved, devoted mother and faithful wife entered her eternal rest on Saturday, August 16 in Bryan. Amelia Escober is now reunited with her husband who passed away in 1984 and left to raise six children in faith, hope and love. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, August 19 at 10AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A visitation was held on Monday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Amelia Escobar was born to Isidro and Daria Ceullar Badillo in Cameron, Texas. She gave of herself as a mom to her family unconditionally. She provided for her family with many acts of kinds and stern warnings to be the best you can be.

Preceding her in death are parents, her husband of twenty-five years Ascension Escobar.

She is survived by her children Robert Escobar, Irma Ayala and her husband Carlos, Ruben Escobar, Irene Branderhorst and her husband Bob, Victor Escobar, and Thomas Escobar and his wife Lynette; sister-in-law Luz Badillo; her nine grandchildren, and close family friends.

Amelia’s family wishes to thank Dr. Tan, Liberty Dialysis and Brazos Valley Hospice for all the excellent compassionate care given to her.
