Anastacio Raymond Hernandez

Anastacio “Raymond” Hernandez, 71, of Bryan, passed away Monday October 26, 2015. Life Tribute Services will begin at 6 p.m. Friday October 30, 2015, at St. Michael’s Chapel, 2402 S. College Ave, Bryan, TX. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Raymond was born April 15, 1944, in Robstown, Texas, to Filomeno and Simona Hernandez. He was retired from the Bryan Independent School District and has lived in Bryan for 36 years after moving from Calvert. He loved woodworking and fishing, and was also an accomplished small engine mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Frank and Ruben Hernandez; and sister Carmen Hernandez.

Survivors include his son, Anastacio Ramon Hernandez Jr. and girlfriend Wendy Herrera; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Sammy Argo, Diane and Cesar Flores; brothers, Isreal Hernandez and wife Manuela, Simon Hernandez, Lucio Hernandez; sister, Antonia Gomez and husband Jose, Jane Czajkowski and husband James; grandchildren, Jimmy Noey and wife Laura, Patricia Flores, Christian Flores; great grandchildren, Makenzie and Leya Noey; first spouse, Lois Godshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  1. I offer my deepest sympathy to everyone, in this time of sorrow, time of remembrances. Raymond took good care of my family, for that I have always been grateful and have told many of his kindness. I also have lost a friend. May the God of all comfort be with family and friends in this such a time…he knows where we are…….Ps.139
