ANN LUCINDA YOUNG

OCTOBER 25, 1954

Condolences

  1. The Angels surely shouted with joy when Ann walked through the gates of Heaven. We believe that when she saw the face of the Lord that he said to her : ‘Well Done’.
She was a dedicated child of God that will leave an ever lasting impression of Love, Strength, Kindness and Faith to her beautiful daughters, precious grand-daughters and to all those that knew her.

  2. We’ll miss you Ann! You and I chasing Poochie, our dog, around the old homestead as kids will stick in my mind forever! God bless you!

    Love, Steve

  3. Tracy, I am so sorry about your mom. I know it is hard for you and your sister and time will heal. Just remember the wonderful memories. She is dancing with Jesus now and in no more pain.
I’m here if you need ANYTHING as tall.
    Love,
    Gayle

  4. Ann was so very special to me -a true friend- a true friend you could share things with in confidence and give good, loving advice, to have so many fun times and laugh with – calm and understanding, sensible and frugal and close to God. I will miss her friendship greatly.

  5. Ann will never be forgotten!! She was like family to us! We loved her soooo much and will miss her tremendously! I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers throughout this hard time!

  6. Tracy – Kirby, we are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I know this is a difficult time for you and your families. I will always remember walking around the old neighborhood with your mom, you two and my sons – the advice she gave me on refinishing furniture pieces. Andy especially remembers how sweet your mom always was to him. One day your memories will be of great comfort to you. We will miss her greatly.

  7. Kirby and family,
I offer sympathy to you all, and peace. I missed the last 2 months of your moms care, but will never forget her. She has a place in my heart. You took wonderful care of her! She was a trooper. I am sending prayers your way and love.

  8. To Ann’s family,

She will be truly missed. She was one of the most courageous women I have ever met. Our sympathies are with your family at this time.

  9. I am very sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. She had told me of her illness awhile back and an upcoming cruise with her children that she was taking, that she was enjoying the time she had left with those that she loved most. She talked about it and her life, when she first got sick and how hard it was-how her family and the boss’ wife really helped her overcome what she could at the time and she was able to see how important life was. She told me to take nothing for granted, to not worry about doing the little things sometimes because you should just really focus on being with the people you love and to do the things you always TALK about doing. I never forgot that conversation. I came down there and trained the staff and worked with Ann after that. It deeply saddens me that she is no longer with us in the world. I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and the staff of Wickson Creek SUD.

  11. Tracy,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With the recent passing of both my grandparents, I can tell you that the memories you have will forever keep her alive in spirit and in your daily life.

  12. Kirby and Tracey,
Your mom just beat us to the goal and will welcome us there when it’s our turn. Your mom was a sweet woman and may God bless and comfort you and yours at this difficult time.

    Monte – Denise Otts

  13. Dear Tracy,

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. God bless you and keep you all.

  14. We wish we could be there with you during this time. The angels in Heaven are celebrating because another Christian has entered the gates and is no longer suffering. I know Ann is dancing down the streets of gold right next to Jesus, and she is no longer in any pain. we love you and will continue to pray for you! God bless.

  15. Tracy and Kirby,

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with the loss of your mother.
