Condolences

  1. To Ian and “Charles& Co.” as Ann used to say,

I’m so sorry for your loss. Ann was such a sweet, caring, kind, generous and considerate person as you know. I so enjoyed my time volunteering under her supervision and guidance, during my stay in Austin. I know there’s a special place in heaven for her. I know she will be sorely missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.

  2. I’ve known Ann since I first hooked up with SPNHC back in 2007. She was always a welcome presence at the annual meetings, and I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed.

  3. Ann has always been the best of everything–friend, curator, leader. Her friendship has meant the world to me. I am and will always be holding her in the Light.

  4. Ian Charles and Catherine
We are so sorry for your loss. We are praying for you.
Ann was a treasure! So loving and kind. I enjoyed our time together as families growing up in cub scouts. Charles and Eric are still great friends. We cherish sweet memories of all of you!!!❤
    Lovingly
    Jon and Sandy Goins
    Eric and Amy too

  5. She will be missed dearly by all of us at the Paleontological Society of Austin for whom Ann was a great science advisor and friend. Her support was always offered without question.

  6. Ian,

You have my deepest sympathies to you and the rest of your family. Ann was a great friend and mentor, and she will be missed dearly.

  7. Ian,
I went to Town and Gown last night and to say I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ann’s death is a great understatement. I was always delighted when she was at T&G as sh e was such a pleasure to chat with. My deepest sympathy to you.

  8. Ian,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know of this until we received Mandy’s email. Ann was a warm and witty presence at Town & Gown, and it was always a treat to share a table with both of you. My condolences to you and your family.
