  5. I was so sorry to hear of Billie’s passing. I worked with her for a short time 27 years ago. She was definitely an independent, unique spirit, and a pleasure to work with each day. I feel lucky to have met her. My husband and I send our sincere condolences.

  6. To express our deep sympathy to you on your loss. We thank Mrs. Billie’s husband Edward for serving our country during WW II. You both were members of “the greatest generation”. May God’s Speed Be With This Family.

  8. Kathy and Eddie, your mother was a wonderful neighbor. Knowing she was next door was a great comfort to me when my parents were elderly and infirm. Her thoughtful and caring nature made a difference. I really loved her and will miss her. My deepest sympathy to you both. Sue

  9. Ed, Jr. and family,

I received the notice of your loss through and e-mail update from First Baptist-Navasota. I will always remember the compassion you shared with me after my dad’s sudden death during my senior year at Navasota High as a band student under your direction.

While his life was limited to only 37 years, I have learned to value each day since passing that mile marker and now near my 47th year. Only for those whose experience has provided, are they appreciative of their time on earth.

I didn’t know your mom but from all that has been shared in her obituary, her place in the world is left with significant vacancy for those whom she touched. You are blessed to have had her in your lives for her 87 years.

Please accept my heartfelt condolence in this emotion filled time. I know you are all grateful to God for the gift of her life as we should all be for those with whom we are blessed to call our family and friends.

    God Bless You,

    Joe King Fultz, Jr.

  10. Billie taught me so much. She taught me how to appreciate all the little things in life, and how important education was. She was such a loving person, and was so kind hearted. She always talked so highly of her son and daughter and how proud she was of both of them. She will be missed very much, but I know she is so happy with the Lord and her hubby. She told me a week before she passed that she was so excited to get to see her husband and I truly believe she is smiling down on all of us right now. My condolences to the family. Please stay in touch.
