Christopher Lee Krause

Chris Krause, 32, of College Station, formerly of Houston, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at his home. His family will receive guests during visiting hour’s 6:30 to 8:30pm on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 2700 West Villa Maria Road. Chris was born to Harry Arthur Krause and Peggy Sue Chambers in Houston, Texas. Chris was someone who always put a smile on everyone’s face. He never met a stranger. He loves hunting and fishing and working on his Cheyenne truck. He would have given you the shirt off his back even if there were a blizzard outside. His heart was kind and gentle. Making people laugh was his specialty. People that met him only once consider him a best friend. His love for country music was one of the many things that set him apart from everyone. He would sit on the back porch and listen to some good ole country singing along drinking a beer. His kids, family and friends meant the most to him and he would do anything for them. Please say a little prayer for Chris and his family and friends and switch on a country music song and sing along. He would have loved that.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rimp and Delma Krause, Troy Chambers; his uncles James Krause, Rick Hoeneveld and his beloved pet Bandit.

His survivors include his children Christopher James and Brooke Cheyenne; his father Harry and wife Teresa Krause; his mother Peggy and husband Mike Garrett; his sisters and brothers Kim and husband Curtis Cavazos, Matt Krause, Mikey Krause, and Taylor Leigh Cloud;his grandmother Josephine Chambers; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; his pets Turbo and Toby.

Honoring the life of Chris, as pallbearers are Matt Krause, Mikey Krause, Stephen Chambers, Dustin Krause, Chris Portillo, Jaime Portillo, Craig Becerra, Joey Portillo, Curtis Cavazos, and Bobby Portillo.

  20. Chris my precious grandson I had you in my life for 32 years and I’m going to miss you so much.
I don’t know how I’m going to live without you. You had a heart of gold always caring for everyone and you were so loved by your family and friends, we all love you very much and you will be missed by all. I’m going to miss our phone calls and hearing you say I love you Mamaw darling. You were the best grandson that any grandparents could ever ask for and I know you are with Papaw in heaven.
You both will be in my heart forever and always.
I love you so much my precious grandson, I love you baby

  21. I am so sorry for your loss. To lose a dear friend or a relative is the hardest thing to deal with. Many have found this Bible verse at Revelation 21:4 to be comforting, that verse discusses the Bible’s encouraging promise to end death forever.
