  1. To the family and friends of Cuihua Zhang, Cuihua was a very special woman–strong, brave, and gentle. She was so proud of her family. She spoke of her husband and her son with such love and joy. She remembered her friends and colleagues who helped her along the way and expressed gratitude for their kindness and support. We will miss her. Sincerely, Cheryl Heesch

Dr. Zhang had played such an important role in my life. Now I will continue the journey without her, but I will remember her love and care, her passion for life and science. Thanks for all of your help, too. I will cherish all these in my life.

You have been so talented in many ways. At this distressing moment, wish you all the strength to get over it and keep moving forward. I believe your mom would have wanted that. I will be here for you whenever you need it.
