Jean was born in Latexo, Texas on July 7, 1945 to James and Dora Stowe. She and her husband, Ken Hager, were happily married for 50 years. She and Ken have 5 children together. Jean spent her life as a loving wife and devoted mother not only to her five children but also to her 8 siblings.
Jean passed away on March 31, 2017 surrounded by loved ones, under the care of her daughters and Traditions Hospice Care. Visitation will be held at Callaway Jones Funeral Center in Bryan from 5-7 PM on Monday, April 3, 2017. Graveside services will be held at Bryan City Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents James and Dora Stowe; son, Junior Lowe; brother, Richard Stowe; husband, Ken Hager; daughter, Cindy Cooper.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lisa Darlene and Gene Loper, daughter and son-in-law Susie and John Sinclair, daughter and son-in-law Marie and Robert Brewster, 5 sisters, 2 brothers, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
