Dorothy Belle Arnold

Heaven is a little brighter today loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother Dorothy Belle Arnold, 93, of Bryan, passed away on Monday, December 23 at Scott and White Hospital – College Station. A visitation will be on Thursday, December 26 from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 10am on Friday, December 27 at the College Station City Cemetery on Texas Ave. Funeral services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dorothy was born to Charlie and Annie Laura Page in Limestone County, Texas. She was a hard working noble lady of God who loved her family. Dorothy was married to Eulice Arnold until his death in 1980. She created a warm loving home for children and grandchildren. She will be remember for the love of God and her ability to recite scripture for her family in times of encouragement. She loved her family and always shared her home with them every chance she could.

She is preceded in death by her husband Eulice Arnold; her parents; her siblings; and sons-in-law Billy Fields and Dickie Redmond.

Dorothy is survived by her son Virgil and wife Nancy Arnold; her daughters Dorothy Fields and Sherry Redmond; her nine grandchildren Marsh Lynn Arnold, Virgil Mark Arnold, Deana Kay Arnold, David Fields, Theresa Perez, Donna Bazis, Douglas Eastep, Robin Flye and M’Lissa Collier; eight great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren; and other family members.
