Condolences

  1. I remember coming through Bryan with my family in the early 1970’s. We would alway stop at ‘Bama’ Smith’s filling station on Texas Avenue. My dad (Wallace Lee Edge) was friends with ‘Bama’. I never knew the origin or the extent of their friendship but when my dad tragically died in 1974 ‘Bama’ agreed to serve as one of his palbearers. I’ve never forgotten that. In the years that followed we moved to Bryan and my mom continued to do business with ‘Bama’ until the station changed hands. Thanks for everything, ‘Bama’, and rest in peace.

  2. Every day, thousands of people are turned down for finance because they have past fast easy payday loan or no credit history.

  3. Every day, thousands of people are turned down for finance because they have past collection agency debt settlement or no credit history.
