May 26, 1955 – June 19, 2016

Elizabeth Ann Prieto, age 61, lost her courageous battle for life on Sunday June 19, 2016 in Brenham, Texas. Liz was born into this precious life on May 26, 1955 in Brenham, Texas where she was also raised and later married her husband, J-Isabel Prieto Garcia on May 09, 1985 and together they raised their own family. Liz enjoyed the basics of life with gardening and she knew how to have fun singing and dancing, her favorite was Oldies Music. What she cherished most was quality time with her family and friends and a slice of her favorite dessert, Lemon Cake, something Elizabeth had in common with her Dad.

Liz was preceded in death by her Mother: Marion Dierking Lampe, Father: Willie Lampe, Brothers: David Lampe and Douglas Lampe. Liz is survived by her husband J-Isabel Prieto Garcia: Daughter, Shawn Annette Martinez and her husband Jaime Martinez: Sons, Benjamin Ray Villanueva and Brian Andrew Villanueva. Siblings: Brothers: Donald Lampe, Richard Lampe and Kirby Lampe and Sister, Tammy Lampe. Liz was adorned with 7 beautiful Grandchildren: Hannah Lampe and Christopher Lampe, Diana Villanueva, Jasmina Villanueva, Desiree Villanueva, Salina Villanueva, and Mirabella Villanueva. Elizabeth was blessed with many other treasured family and friends including the Whidden Family and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Liz cherished her loved ones.

Elizabeth’s life can be summed up in one word: Generous. Liz always generously gave to her family and friends because she always put others above herself.
Liz was a Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to so many. She will be deeply missed and is forever loved.

A Memorial service will be at held at 6pm on Friday June 24, 2016 at
St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church Prairie Hill
6605 Old Independence Rd.
Brenham, Texas 77833

Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers in Bryan College Station, Texas
