Elizabeth Garrett, 75, of Bryan, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, in Bryan. Elizabeth’s family will receive guest during visiting hours from 3 to 5 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the funeral home. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers-Bryan/College Station.

Elizabeth was born to her parents Jessie and Mary Staper Blum, in Minnagua, Minnesota. Her father’s career would move her family often but she would call Texas her home state. Elizabeth had a special calling of loving children of all ages; she was employed with St. Joseph Eagles Nest Child Care in Bryan before retiring. Elizabeth loved her family and loved her extended family as well.

She is preceded in death by her parents; father of her children Louis Wolff; her sisters Mary Lorretta, Margaret, Sharon, and Janice; her brothers Earl and Gary.

She is survived by her sons William Wolff and wife Mary Ann, David Wolff, Michael Wolff and wife Sandra, Ricky Wolff and wife Lisa; her step-daughter Debbie Brock; her brother Mike Blum; her sisters Jacklynne and Judy; her nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and close friends.

  2. I did not know her well. We met at a BBQ at her son Mike’s house who I work with. I had a nice time visiting with Ms. Garrett. What a nice lady. Our heats go out to the family. Many hugs and prayers sent your way!

  3. I didn’t know her, but she was my step mother, I wish I would have met her. The way everyone talks about her she was a wonderful women. My heart for my brother’s and their families. And also the rest of her family. It is hard to lose a mother but were she is now there is no pain. She is with Jesus. My love goes out to my family!

Prayers and fond memories are what we have to remember. At her birthday party, I loved watching Ms. Betty with her family in the videos. Such good times to reflect upon. Wonderful memories. Ms.Betty was such a loving and caring lady. I will miss her very much. I hope that our Lord brings you and your family the much needed comfort and peace during this sad time.
