Hattie Park

Hattie Elzora Crow Park, age 81, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 in College Station. Elzora was born April 3, 1933 in Los Indios, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Marion Ila Crow. She graduated from San Benito High School in 1952 and married her high school sweetheart, Richard Webb Park in 1953.

Some of Elzora’s hobbies included roller-skating, painting, crocheting, cooking, baking, going to movies, camping and traveling. She often asserted, “For the most part, all times in my life have been good times.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Webb Park, her sisters Mary Jo Rogers and Flora Mae Crow, and her son, Richard “Rick” Lewis Park.

Elzora is survived by her three daughters: Suzi (Richard) Howard of Kingsville, Traci (Randy) Preiss of Victoria, and Barbie Lewis of College Station. She is also survived by grandchildren Ryan and Reba Howard, Braden Cole Preiss, Colby Lewis, Dallas (Kaleb) Savant, and a great-granddaughter Raegan Nicole Savant.

  2. our sympathy to the family of Elzora, my husband was an old school mate of hers. I have a picture of them rollerskating when they were kids. He was very fond of her Mom, Mama Crow.
