Irene was a beautiful person and a good friend to many. She was a homemaker and a great mom who loved to cook! She did volunteer work and had numerous hobbies, including reading, gardening, collecting and refinishing furniture, and travel. She loved seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was devoted during her long life to numerous pets including various toy fox terriers, a sheltie, and several cats.

The family gives special thanks to Julie Lim, M.D. and the staff & friends at Broadmoor Place & Waldenbrooke who were like family to her.

Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Grave-side services will be held at a later date with burial in Beulah, Missouri next to Wilmer.

Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
