Jackie Marie DuPree, 55, passed away Saturday morning, January 25, 2014 in Bryan.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. The interment will follow at 1 p.m. at James Cemetery near Camp Creek. The Family will receive guests during a visitation Monday evening January 27, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.

Jackie was born September 15, 1958 in Dallas, Texas, to Joe and Judith Neff. She was a devoted, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. All who knew her will miss her kind and gentle spirit. She truly loved her family and they loved her. She will be forever remembered and missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, John DuPree; son, Eric Keatts and wife Angela and son Sean Keatts DuPree; parents, Joe and Judith Neff; brother, James Neff and wife Lonna; sister, Jo Anne Hudson and husband Weldon; grandson, Vince Keatts; nephews, Brandon, Travis, Justin, Blaine; and nieces, Whitney, Emily, Rachel, Amanda, Angie, Casey and Briana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Christus Dubuis Hospital, 1600 St. Joseph Drive, Bryan, Texas 77802. We want to thank them for all the loving care they gave Jackie during her final days.

  5. Jackie was a beautiful person with a caring spirit; I wish I could have known her before her illness. You are in my constant prayers. Remember that life isn’t about what has been taken away, but it’s about what we do with what we have left. Jackie’s life was filled with treasured and precious memories, and you have the rest of your lives to live as you know she would wish for you. During the sad days ahead, pray for God’s strength and share your burdens with people you trust. The clouds will eventually part, an the sun will shine once more upon your souls.   6. John, we are so sad for the lose of your wife and my cousin. Uncle Joe, Aunt Judy,Jackie, Joann and Spooky were so much a part of our lives as young children. I can remember Saturday nights the whole family would get together and have hamburgers while all the kids would play under the street lights. Homemade ice cream was always on the menu. I will always remember those times almost like they were yesterday. We wish we could be be with y’all but duty calls. We will be with you in our hearts and prayers.

  9. We both feel so blessed to have met Jackie and feel the warmth of her smile. She impressed us with her sweetness and gentleness that is rare in many people. Our thoughts are with John, Sean, Eric and little Vince as well as others of the family who will miss her being in their lives. Her love is an energy that will never end and perhaps that never-ending love will comfort you all through the sadness of her passing.

  10. John and Sean, I am very sorry to hear of Jackie’s passing. Like John, I have known Jackie for 25 someodd years. I cannot remember her in a bad mood or without a smile on her face. I am really glad that Amy got to meet her a couple years ago. As always we were welcome in your home and it was good to see you guys then. Sean, your mother will be missed but you can carry her spirit on in your heart forever. She will always be with you two. She was a great girl, fun loving and had a beautiful spirit. I will miss her
