Condolences

  1. John was a very dear longtime friend and brother. Our hearts are saddened for our part for this great loss, but rejoice because we know and are assured of John’s reward. John fought the good fight. He was one of the best gospel preachers I have heard or been associated with. His laugh was contagious and his sense of humor was wonderful. May the God of heaven, creator of the universe and all that is therein richly bless his family. He will truly be missed. He was loved by all that knew him.

  2. John was a great preacher of the truth and will be missed. We know he is in the arms of his Lord and will be comforted. God be with his family and help them to know what a blessing John was to so many of us. We had the honor of having him preach several meetings for us in Graham, TX.
We loved him deeply and will miss him greatly.
Thanks for all he did for the Kingdom of Christ.
    David & Jan

  3. What a dear sweet man! We will always remember brother Iverson for his kind nature and how he related to all the young college students he taught the Gospel over the years. He genuine loved being a servant of God. He and his wife Anne would bring me to worship services when I was a new college student at A&M over 30 ago. Then we had the honor of John pronouncing us husband and wife a few years later. Even in his later years, the college kids would visit him and he would smile, hug and encourage the young people to be faithful to The Lord. We have lost a remarkable man but his influence will be felt for generations. May God bless his family.
    Barry & Dynise Finley
