Johnny Littlejohn

Johnny went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus on August 8,2014,He was born to Mix and Katherine Littlejohn in Hillsboro, TX in 1956. Johnny had a love for horses and was known to break them in at an early age. He received his Riverboat Pilots License in 1978 and traveled up and down the Mississippi. Johnny had a tragic car accident in 1985 that left him paralyzed from the waist down but he still found a great strength in life that was passed on to everyone who met him. Johnny enjoyed going places, hunting, fishing, shopping, church and watching little league in the park. He was an avid storyteller to anyone who would listen.

He is survived by his son Johnny Jr. ; Daughters Corie and Crystal; Two brothers Tommy and Clay; four sisters Janet, Anna, Peggy, Angela and Myra; and of course many nieces and nephews and grandchildren.

  1. My daughters and I met Johnny when he was at the Olive Branch Nursing home. He was their fathers’ roommate for a while. We all really liked him and the girls have made a point to go see him, taking him gifts. He was very special. He will be missed.
