Kevin Frank Ford

Kevin Ford, 53, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation is at 3pm Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Rosary and memorial services are at 4pm, Sunday, April 14, 2013. Reverend Monsignor John McCaffrey will officiate. Cremation and service arrangements are in the care of Callaway –Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Kevin, born in Bryan, Texas, was the third of six children of George and Margaret Fuller Ford. Kevin will be remembered best as a simple man who loved hunting, fishing in his favorite fishing hole, preparing his outstanding BBQ pork ribs and for his never ending love of Fightin’ Texas Aggie football. Kevin was a member of Ducks Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. His family considered Kevin, in his professional career, to be the best blade worker in Texas. At the end of the day, Kevin truly enjoyed relaxing while watching his western shows. As a father to Chrysa and Josh, he showed great affection and shared his God given attributes to all.

Preceding Kevin in death is his father, George Ford; and grandparents Frank and Mary Fuller and Frank Ford and Rita Mae Danley.

Kevin is survived by his children, Chrysa Ford of Little Elm, TX and Josh Wager of League City, TX; his mother, Margaret Sissy Ford; his sister, Kelly Ford; his brothers and sisters-in-laws, Larry and Julie Ford, Mike and Ruth Ford all of Bryan, TX , Darby and Kim Ford of Hutto, TX and Barry and Lindsay Ford of McKinney,TX; grandchildren, Avery and Lily Wager of League City, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.

Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association, St. Joseph Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
