Condolences

  1. Alice Ann, and by extension , your family were my first friends when I moved to Bunker Hill Elementary and St. Francis at the age of 9. Mrs. Schorre was such a sweet, calm and spiritual presence and I just loved her. I remember many sweet times with her at your home. My sincerest condolences.

    Ellen

  2. Mr. and Mrs. Schorre were friends of our parents in Bellaire, Texas, before we were born, and were part of our lives whether we lived a few houses down the street or a thousand miles away. We both remember the house on Broken Bough, where Mrs. Schorre would greet you with her warm smile and beautiful brown eyes.

She always gave us her full attention, genuinely interested in what was going on in our lives. She had a grace about her, a kind and gentle soul, and always a sense of joyfulness.

We had hoped to be with you today as you celebrated Mrs. Schorre’s life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your extended families.

    Carol McCardell, Glencoe, Illinois
    Stephen McCardell, Appleton, Wisconsin
