Michael Wayne Farrer, 59 of Brenham, TX. Passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 when he lost his battle to cancer. Born in Kokomo, IN. Mike moved to Texas after serving in the United States Marine Corps. He married Anna Trevino in 1979 and the two were married for 39 wonderful years. He was a truck driver for 45 years and loved his job. Mike’s family was his world. He loved to fish and watch his Sci-Fi movies, he also loved to go on Sunday mornings to eat breakfast with his Uncle Shorty and brother-in-law Fidel.
Mike is survived by his wife Anna Farrer, son and fiancé; Christopher Farrer and Paige Peschel, daughter; Shannon Farrer, brother; and wife James and Nancy Farrer and Uncle; Roger Moon, grandchildren; Tyler, Shanna, Carmen, Mikey and Sindi, brother and sister in laws; JR and Ruth Horndt, Phil and Linda Engelke, James and Rosemary Hall, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents Thomas and Patricia Farrer, mother and father in law Fidel and Maria Trevino, brother; Steven Farrer and sister in law Mimi Janes.
Mike’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Lambert International in Chappell Hill at 4PM.
