Milton Lee Luther

Milton Luther, 86, of Bryan, passed away at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Funeral service will be at 1:30pm on Saturday, June 28 at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 12:30pm until time of service. Interment will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

He was born the son of William Luther and Lucy Blazak Luther in Bryan, Texas. He was very much an outdoorsmen in his earlier years camping, fishing, and hunting. There isn’t a meal that Luther didn’t have some share in, as cooking was a favorite thing to do. He served our country nobly in both the Army and Navy. He had various pets and taught his son how to enjoy God’s creatures by caring for them. Milton was an avid sports fan and was often listening to Aggie Baseball on the radio. Milton truly devoted his life to his only son, Craig.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Johanna Lenz Luther; his parents; his brothers William Luther and Roman Luther Sr.; his two sisters Minnie Bomnski and Clara Welch.

Survivors include his son Craig Lee Luther; his brother Joe Luther and wife Claire of San Antonio; numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be given to The American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
