Patricia Gans

Patricia Mary Gans, 84, of Brenham, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Lampstand Nursing Home. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory in Bryan, with a private memorial to be held at a later date.

Patricia was born July 5, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to Helen and Laurence Mason. She worked as a florist for most of  her lifetime; first working at her family’s shop, “Mason’s Flower Shop”, in Maryland, and later owned a flower shop, “Flowers of Houston” for several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Daniel Gans; son, Michael Gans; sister, Idell Swett Hicks; and her parents.

Patricia leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Pat Gans of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Joe Boyd of Houston; grandchildren, Ryan Boyd, Dustyn Boyd, Sean Gans (Lilia), Caitlin Weisman (Daniel) ; and great grandson, Jack Thomas Gans.

  2. Oh, I am so sorry for your loss! I worked with Pat at Fishers. She was so sweet and I loved getting to know her! I wish I had heard about the service sooner! I would have been there! Take comfort in knowing she is with Jesus! There is no better place to be!
