Please accept my most sincere and best wishes to you on the recent passing of your father. Even when such passings are expected, they still leave a hole in our hearts and souls. Although I only knew your father by his far-reaching reputation, I felt I knew him personally when I would pop into your office across the hall and ask after him. You would always give me an uplifting and positive report. I could tell by the light in your eyes how much you loved and respected your father. I am sure it was reciprocal, he to you. He was certain to be enormously proud of you and all of your accomplishments. I hope his passing was peaceful knowing that you were well and on good terms with him.
