Rachelle Stanfield Taylor

Rachelle Ann Stanfield-Taylor, 35, of Smithville, formerly of Bryan passed away on Wednesday, March 6 in Austin. Visitation will be Saturday, March 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m., Sunday, March 10 at Central Baptist Church, with Rusty Hudson officiating. Cremation and funeral services are in the care of Callaway Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Rachelle was born on October 11, 1977 in Bryan. Rachelle graduated high school with honors. She loved music, dancing, swimming, food, and flowers. Her favorite color was red. Rachelle loved to watch TV and her favorite shows included the Price is Right, Golden Girls, Gilligan’s Island, and the Brady Bunch. She loved to drink Dr. Pepper and liked to ride in Jimmy’s work truck or Mat’s car to get one. She was very strong in her faith and loved God and praying.

Most of all, Rachelle loved her family and spending time with them. She was always curious and asking about family members. Rachelle proudly wore a smile every single day, no matter what.

Rachelle is survived by a loving family; her parents, Pam and Jimmy Taylor; brother, Mathew Taylor; uncle Russell Smotek, aunt Paula and Robby Smith; uncle Ron Smotek, uncle Allen and aunt Donna Taylor; her grandparents, Marie Smotek, Elaine Dunn, Jesse and Margaret Stanfield, and Linda Smotek; cousins, Jeffery Terrell, Savanna Smotek, and Kyle Taylor; as well as many other close friends and relatives.

Preceding her in death are Adolph “Sonny” Smotek, Jack Taylor, Ernest Dunn and Kevin Taylor.

Rachelle’s family wishes to express their gratitude and request that memorials be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.

  13. I will miss Rachelle so much and all of the light and love that she brought into this world. I really wish that I could be at the service right now, but I’m not able to due to my newborn. However, even if I can’t be there physically, my heart, thoughts and tears are with you all right now!!
