Rickie Vincent, 65, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, in the Temple VA Hospital with his lifetime friend Dee Blackmon at his side.  A visitation will be at 5 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017, and prayer service to begin at 6:30 pm followed by Military Honors both at the funeral home. Cremation Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station

Rickie Vincent was born in Seymour, Texas to Leonard Tant Vincent Jr and Barbara Jean Wall Vincent on May 24, 1951. He attended and graduated from Frankfurt high school in Germany. Following high school, Rickie enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He returned stateside disabled from his service to our country. He was active hunter, fisherman & was a member of the Wildlife & Gaming association, National Rifle Association & VFW.   He loved his family unconditionally.

His father L.T. Vincent Sr. and his devoted stepfather Glenn Simpson precede him in death.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Carol Phinney and children Brad Spannagel and wife Mariel, Jenifer Welch and husband Eric, Christie Phinney-Infante and husband Raymondo. He is additionally survived by his ex-wife, Dee Blackmon & devoted lifetime friend, & children Krystal Vincent and husband Sergio Lopez; and Kodie Vincent and husband Maxwell McManus; his brother Nickie Vincent and wife Vickie; his sisters Debbie Simpson Morgan and Debbie Vincent; his grandchildren BreAnna, Grayson, Alyssa, Mackenzie, Legahcey, Dianna, Michael, Chloe, Dianna, Seum, Katie, Savanna, Gabriella, Taylor, and Madalynn; his great-grandchildren Michael, Brendon, and Anna; and other relatives and friends.

  1. Our thoughts and prayers for you and your family . Dee I have known you and Ricky since 1990, and neither one of you have wavered on the trust and concern for each other. You have always were there for Ricky no questions asked. No doubt there will be a huge void in families heart. But know he is no longer in pain and has gained his wings and has a fishing pole in hand. Love you guys
