Roy Macik

Delphine Roy Macik, Sr., 62, of Bryan, TX, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 in College Station, TX. Memorial Services are set for Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the SPJST Hall in Snook, TX with Jerry C. Adam of Cypress, TX officiating.

Roy was born May 4, 1949 in Wharton, TX, to Willie John and Delphine Mary Havel. In his early life he lived for street racing, worked as a farmer, construction worker, worked in the oil field, retired from the City of College Station, since spent his time assisting friends and neighbors with various jobs. Roy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends outdoors, whether a backyard bbq, banks of the water, or on the shore of the ocean.

Roy is survived by his daughter, Angela “Angie” Nell Macik Daugherty, of College Station; sons, Roy “Bubba” Macik, Jr., Larry “Wayne” Macik, of Bryan; sisters, Willie Mae “Cooky” Heath, Mae Dell Cox; brother, James Charles “JC” Macik; 12 grandchildren, Michael and Ashley Weber, DJ Daugherty, Dustin and Memory Macik, Kelsey and Dylan Macik, Halie Macik, Cassidie Ashley, Roy Jr., Elizabeth and Joshua Macik, and 13 nieces and nephews.

Condolences
