Sam Sustaita

Samuel “Sam” Sustaita, Sr., 70, of Bryan, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Saint Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Funeral Services are set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan with Reverend Ruben Canales, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Restever Memorial Park in Bryan. No visitation is scheduled.

Sam was born on June 10, 1942 in Mumford, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Bryan. Sam was a diesel mechanic and worked for Butler Building Products. He also attended Brazos Miracle Outreach Church.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda S. Sustaita; sons, Samuel Sustaita, Jr., of Bryan, U.S. Army Specialist, Robert Lee Sustaita, of Bryan, currently attending school at Stephen F. Austin State in Nacogdoches; daughters, Graciela Sustaita Lopez, class of 2013, South Texas College, and husband, Johnny, of McAllen, Texas, Belinda Sustaita-Perez and husband, Martin, of Bryan; grandchildren, Valeria Allison Mendoza, Jose Angel Lopez, Mason Lee Perez, Johnny Lopez, Jr., Dylan Daniel Perez; and special friend, Moses Nuniz, of Bryan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Sam Sustaita at Citibank, 201 S. Texas Avenue, Bryan, TX 77803.
