| Cody D. Jones, Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Certified Crematory Operator Email: cjones@callawayjones.com Office Phone: (979) 822-3717 A native of Bryan, Cody is a fifth generation funeral director. He is a 1998 graduate of Bryan High School and a 2002 graduate of Southern Methodist University (S.M.U.), both of which he graduated in the top ranks of his class. Like his father and his grandfather, Cody is also a graduate of Commonwealth Funeral Institute of Houston, where he received the distinguished honor of admittance into the National Funeral Service Honor Society. He is also a proud member of the Bryan Rotary Club and received honors as a Paul Harris Fellow. Cody is also a member of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce and was selected to the Leadership Brazos Team 2009/2010. He is now a member of the Leadership Brazos Alumni Association and a co-chair of LB. For the past three years Cody has served on the Board of Directors of The South East Texas Funeral Director’s Association and recently became the President of the board. Cody is a Board Member on the State of Texas Funeral Director’s Association where he serves on the Legislative and Membership Committees. He attends Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. As a teenager, Cody won two state championships playing soccer. He also competed in soccer on the Olympic Development Program and in Europe. In his free time Cody enjoys playing soccer, golf, and spending time at the lake with his friends. |
| Lorene Jones, Vice-President - Licensed Funeral Director Email: ljones@callawayjones.com Lorene attended Madisonville High School and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. After college, Lorene moved to Houston and worked in the Accounting field. When she married Michael D. "Mike" Jones, they moved to Bryan so Mike could work in the family funeral home. Mike and Lorene have one son, Cody D. Jones who is FDIC for Callaway-Jones Funeral Home & Crematory. Lorene serves the funeral home as Vice-President and Director of Pre-Planning. She is a licensed funeral director and insurance agent. Lorene has served on the board of Keep Brazos Beautiful as both treasurer and secretary. |
| Ricky Alderete, Funeral Director Email: ricky@callawayjones.com Ricky Alderete, a Bryan native, has been serving the Brazos Valley as a funeral director since 2007, when he became a Honor Graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston. Ricky holds a Master’s degree in Theology from the University of St. Thomas and his Bachelor’s degree from The College of Santa Fe. In our community Ricky serves as Vice President for the Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association through the Bryan Police Department. He is the past recording secretary for the Citizens Fire Academy Alumni through the College Station Fire Department and serves on both the CART and REHAB teams. He is also an alumnus of the CFA with the Bryan Fire Department. Ricky has most recently been a substitute teacher for the College Station Independent School District. Ricky continues to share his faith life with family and friends. His commitment to St. Joseph Catholic Church continues as he serves in various lay ministries including as a Cantor for Mass, Lector, Communion Minister, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, RCIA team member and also on the Men’s Faith Formation Team. He believes that this faith gives him a foundation to serve our community with excellence as a funeral director. Ricky is blessed to have his family here locally to support his career as a funeral director. He keeps a watchful eye on his parents who have been in our community since the early 1960’s. He has two brothers and sisters-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law. He is the proud uncle of eight nieces and nephews, along with twelve great-nieces and great-nephews. He spends much of his free time with family during his days off. |
| Scott Sitton, Provisional Funeral Director Scott was born & raised in Marshall, Texas. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1978. He attended college at Kilgore JC, Brazosport College & Alvin Community College. He worked for 30 years in his family's trucking business before leaving in 2007, which is when he & his family moved to Bryan. Since '09 he has worked as a licensed hospice chaplain in the B/CS area. He is currently enrolled at Commonwealth Funeral Institute & will graduate and become a licensed funeral director in 2011. Scott & his wife Jennifer have 4 children and attend First Baptist Church in Bryan. Scott joined the Callaway-Jones Family because he preferred to work for a family-owned funeral home. |
| Jean Scott, Office Administrator Email: wecare@callawayjones.com Jean is a lifelong resident of the Brazos Valley. She was born in Madisonville, Texas, and she attended A&M Consolidated Schools for 10 years, before graduating from Anderson High School in 1978. She married and had two sons, Thomas and Michael Walkoviak. In 1993, Jean married Tommy Scott, who has a son, Rusty Scott. Jean has worked in College Station since 1990 in retail sales and office management. She has been part of our Callaway-Jones family since November 2009. Jean enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes taking cruises, traveling, and seeing new places. |
| Shandee Frazier, Funeral Service Assistant Shandee is a graduate of Livingston High School and currently attends Texas A&M University. She will graduate from Texas A&M in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Shandee has previously worked for the Polk County Chamber of Commerce and served as a camp counselor at Camp Cho-Yeh. In the near future Shandee will also be enrolled at Commonwealth Funeral Institute to begin her coursework for Funeral Studies. |
| Chelsea Smith, Funeral Service Assistant Chelsea, a native of Bryan, graduated from Bryan High School. Chelsea is also a graduate of Texas A&M, Class of 2011, with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource and a Business Minor. She currently works full-time as a patient specialist for both Liberty Dialysis and St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. In her spare time, Chelsea helps us as a funeral assistant for memorial services and evening visitations. You may also see her at various special community and civic events. |

Donna has lived in the Bryan College Station area for around 30 years. She helps with picking up pet companions from the veterinarian clinics as well as homes and residences. She can help guide pet parents throughout the memorialization process. Donna is also a certified crematory operator and she will make sure that your pet is returned directly to you within 48 hours of pick-up, and in most cases the next day. |
