Virginia Marie Cifelli

Virginia Marie Cifelli
September 9, 1946 – May 15, 2016

Our sweet sister passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in College Station. She never married but shared her life of love with us, her siblings Joseph and Michele. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey to our parents Joseph John and Adelaide Teresa Zelli Cifelli on September 9, 1946, Virginia was one of three children in this marriage that our parents shared for twenty one years. Virginia was a dedicated person to her family and friends. She attended The University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing administration, and a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing. She was the administrator of the Lenape Valley Foundation, a psychiatric facility in Doylestown, PA. In 1985 Ginni moved to Texas to be with her sister and help run Topsider Farm. She quickly became involved with the Dressage community in the Brazos Valley and was a strong presence there until her death. Ginni was a member of the Brazos Association for Classical Horsemanship and the United States Dressage Federation. She loved gardening, reading, sports, and traveling Mexico and Arizona. She was a true Renaissance woman. Ginni loved the outdoors and being around her horses. She enjoyed the Jersey beach and the peace she found there. It is her will for her ashes to be spread over the waters she enjoyed so much.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her mother Adelaide Cifelli, her brother Joseph John Cifelli, her sister Michele Voorhees, her niece Danielle Cifelli, her nephew John Cifelli, and her horses.

Should you wish, memorial gifts may be made to a charity of your choice. Wounded Warriors was one of her favorite charities.
