Brad Harris Jr.

His Lord and Savior called Waldon Bradley “Brad” Harris Jr., 68, of College Station, home on Saturday, January 10, embraced by his loving family. The Navy Honor Guard will render Military Honors at 11AM, Thursday, January 15 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11AM, Friday, January 16, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Academy Chapel, 2500 South College Ave, Bryan. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Brad was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Waldon Bradley Harris Sr., and Daisy Butler Harris on July 14, 1946. He graduated high school and entered the Navy, serving his country honorably. He met and married the love of his life Sharon Thompson. Brad served as a Police Officer for 20 years. He was a member of the College Hills Baptist Church.

Brad loved woodworking, building model airplanes and cooking. He was a member of the Bryan Amateur Radio Club.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brothers Raymond and Jimmy Jackson, sisters Brenda Hedge and Daisy Price.

His survivors include, Sharon Harris, his wife of 17 years; his sister Kay Giacomo, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
