William Earl Crutchfield

William Earl Crutchfield, Jr. of Bryan, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday, January 4 at Callaway-Jones with interment to follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Bill was born on April 26, 1957, in Bryan to William and Molly Crutchfield, Sr.

He proudly served in the United States Army from July 18, 1974 to August 19, 1982 as a Staff Sergeant in the 545th Military Police Company, 1st Cavalry Division with a honorable discharge. He contributed time teaching at Blinn College in the 1980’s in Bryan, Texas. Bill was a dedicated and hard working manager for Producers Cooperative Association over 30 years in Bryan.

He was a loving, caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother and friend to many people.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sunny Crutchfield; three daughters, April Crutchfield, Rosie Crutchfield-Hightower, Billie Jean Crutchfield; two grandsons, John (Little Bill) and Matthew Hightower all of Bryan, Texas; parents, Bill Sr. and Molly Crutchfield of Bryan, Texas; sisters and brothers, Kathy and Kevin Graves of College Station, Texas, Gail and Buddy Kirpatrick of Bryan, Texas, Ray and Carole Crutchfield of College Station, Texas, and Bobby Crutchfield of Bryan, Texas; grandmother, Evelyn Britton of Bryan, Texas and numerous extended family.

He will be dearly missed and loved so much, and never forgotten.
