William “Bill” Singer, 83, of Bryan, passed away with family at his side Sunday, May 28, 2017. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. Bill’s life will be celebrated with a graveside ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Bryan City Cemetery.
Bill was born June 7, 1933 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Isaac and Sam Singer. He graduated from Texas A&M University, Class of ’54, and was a rancher his entire life. He lived in Alice, Texas until 2013 at which time he moved to Bryan, Texas.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Bert Singer; daughter, Susan Singer and husband Bob Hunt; son, William M. Singer Jr.; brothers, Merritt Singer Jr. and wife Martha, Robert S. Singer and wife Priscilla; and his granddaughter, Skye Singer.
