Audrey Duncan Kenimer

Audrey Kenimer passed from this world on 17 December 2012 following a stroke. The daughter of Earl and Adelle Duncan, Audrey was born on 20 May 1926 near Lebanon, South Dakota. Audrey married Robert L. Kenimer on 23 May 1953, and they enjoyed 53 happy years together. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and four siblings. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Kenimer of Bryan, Texas, and daughter, Ann Kenimer and her husband Chris Stewart, of College Station, Texas.

Audrey studied aeronautical engineering and worked several years for the National Advisory Committee for Aeronauics before devoting her life to full-time motherhood. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener and back-yard birder. She will be remembered for her liveliness and unwavering happiness.

The family invites friends to a party celebrating Audrey’s life at Carriage Inn, 4235 Boonville Road, Bryan, Texas, on Friday, 21 December 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 with music at 4:30. In lieu of food or flowers, the family suggests a donation to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W 26th St, Bryan, Texas 77803, www.hospicebrazosvalley.org, or the charity of your choice.
