I just wanted to take a moment to express my sorrow for your loss. It is a time of deep sorrow however very soon, God’s promises for our loved ones who have passed away will soon be a reality here on earth as is expressed in the Bible at Revelation 21:3-5; Isaiah 25:8; Psalm 37:11,29.

Condolence from Jeff Parker on September 28th, 2010 9:52 pm

I’ve talked to Bill on the Army Football Message Board since the mid-90’s. He was kind enough to send me a copy of the 96 Army/Air Force game when mine was lost in a fire. He will be deeply missed. I asked him once via private message if he could share what he said to J.Parker after the Independence Bowl Game. I think about his response each time my 5 year old needs reassurance. His kindness lives on within me. I look forward to the day when we can communicate again. My deepest condolences to all the family during this time. Barbara, you’re always welcome on the message board. Sincerely, Jeff Parker (yes, that’s really my name) also known as ArmyFtBall on the Army Football message board.

Condolence from John & Carolyn Greene on September 30th, 2010 10:25 am

Barbara and boys, John and I extend our deepest sympthay to you all. We had not heard that Bill was ill so we were totally surprised. Sounds like your family has extended with a daughter in law and two grandsons. I’m sure you enjoy them. We think of you all and wonder about the boys and what they are doing. John always like to hear about their careers. If you are ever back out this way, please call, we have both retired and are home most of the time, usually mowing grass. Our thoughts are with you.
John and Carolyn Greene

Bill Parker was certainly a friend and a respected man by our family. He did much for the Snyder community and sought neither credit or recognition for it. Our thoughts are with you. Wade and Carolyn Warren and family

Condolence from Melloine Fraley on October 1st, 2010 11:16 am

Bill hired me for my first “real” job at the First National Bank in Midland and again when he became President of Western State Bank in Midland. It was always a pleasure to work with Bill. I have thought about him many times over the years and always with a sense of pride that I was able to know him and work for him. Bill you will be missed, but not forgotten, as there are many in the Banking community in Midland who always remember you with great fondness as we tell our “Parker” stories.
