Billy Wayne Selman

Billy Wayne Selman, 81, of Iola, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 in College Station, Texas. A memorial service celebrating his life is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Iola Missionary Baptist Church in Iola, Texas.
Billy was born January 5, 1932 in Plainview, Texas, to Daniel and Hattie Mae Selman and married Mary McAnear Selman in 1951. Billy was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was self employed in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary McAnear Selman and his youngest son, Fed Selman.
Survivors include his daughter Kathy Chapman and son-in-law Ray, of College Station; son Andy Selman and daughter-in-law Connie, of Iola; daughter-in-law, Gayle Selman of Bryan; sister, Doris Kalb and brother-in-law Chuck, of Madisonville; grandchildren, Casey Savage and wife Janette, Becca Ford and husband Vince, Beau Savage and wife Shea, Brandon Selman and wife Heidi, Andrea Bennett and husband Brad, Steven Rice and wife Cari, Peppre Martin and husband Rodney, Celenda Young, Daniel Selman and wife Jennifer, Stormi Selman; 20 great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
