Carl Marvin Raymond

Carl Marvin Raymond, 91, passed away February 4, 2013. A private interment service will be held at a later date at Marquez Cemetery. Services are in the care of Callaway Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Carl was a World War II veteran. He served in the Navy CB’s (Construction Battalion) in the Philippine Islands. After his military service, he returned to his native Texas where he spent most of his life living in or around College Station, TX. Carl was a bulldozer operator. He participated in the construction of many of the shopping centers and office complexes in College Station.

He is survived by five children: Carl W. Raymond of Pelham, Alabama, Carla Light of Fairfield, TX, David Raymond of Huntsville, TX, John Raymond of Fairfield, TX and Melinda Raymond of Fairfield, TX. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
