Condolences for the family of “Caroline ‘Kelley’ Sistrunk”

Condolence from Cynthia Blakley Wilcox on June 22nd, 2006 7:43 pm

I remember Mrs. Sistrunk as my wonderfully patient 4-H teacher. What she taught me I use every day of my life. Mrs. Sistrunk was always kind and cheerful at church, even when we were in our difficult teenage years, and when she wasn’t feeling strong. Although she was not officially diagnosed with MS, she suffered the symptoms all the years I knew her – with grace, dignity and a cheerfulness that was remarkable. I know she is with our Heavenly Father right now, with every infirmity healed. God Bless Mrs. Sistrunk, her husband and all the kids and grandkids.

I remember Mrs. Sistrunk very fondly from my childhood. She was a wonderful church secretary, her children were sweet friends of ours and I remember her as a KILLER cook in our 4H competitions as well. Some of her winning entries are still some of my favorite foods. A gentle spirit, I know she will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to her family. You are in my prayers.

Dear Sistrunk family, I have many memories of being in your home when I was in grade school. I remember cutting through my backyard on North Ave. to your house. Your mom always welcomed me with great hospitality. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May God bless you with wonderful memories! In Him, Lanette

To Debbie – family… I was so sorry to hear about your mom passing away. My mother sent me her obituary. I have many fond memories of times spent at your house. She was always such a wonderful, sweet person. You and all your family will be in my prayers.

A long, long time ago in a town called Warroad, I used to babysit with Caroline and her four sisters. My sympathies go out to all of her family
