Am so, so saddened Carrie is no longer among the living on earth… though I believe her spirit is now freely soaring in the heavens above! I regret I did not reside closer… I will miss her replying to something I wrote or said, “Aw, Uncle Joe, that is so sweet….”). She was a beautiful girl, inside and out. I will always treasure the memories of when we were able to join family get togethers. May she rest in peace and may her family be consoled.

I met Carrie when we worked together at A&M. She had a beautiful smile and a great attitude. She loved her two daughters and talked about them all the time. She was so proud when she found out that Natalie had gotten a job at Academy and she called her sweet Natalie “Nat”. They were her special loves.

RIP Carrie.
Prayers for all those affected by her too soon passing.

Condolence from Matthew Hudson on September 21st, 2019 4:20 pm

I first worked with Peggy at TAMUS and then later Carrie. She was one of my friends that helped me enter long distance running. She ran my first 5k with me. She never gave up on me and would regularly text me to see what mile at was at during my training, “keep it up!”, “you got this!” Sometimes we would run together in the early mornings and would eventually run the BCS half-marathon many times together.
She was a very dear friend. In the last 12 years we hardly missed a day to chat! She wanted everyone to be happy and would do anything to lift our spirits. Carrie, your smile had a special glow; we all saw it.
I miss you Carrie!
She was always in my head for each run and race I ran. She will forever be there. Lord, please be with her parents, brothers, daughters, extended family and friends as they move through this troubling time. A great light has been extinguished on this Earth but now shines brighter in the Heavens.
