Condolence from Glen and LaVaughn Beauchamp on November 18th, 2016 4:59 pm

Dear Bobbie and Family,

We are inspired by Chuck’s life – loved his proud to be American song. Memories for us include Glen’s visit to his cousin A.J. and his wife, Lois, in Hawaii in 1952. Glen was Navy, A.J. Air Force. Glen remembers bouncing Chuck and his twin sister, Carla, on his knee. When A.J. and Lois lived in Austin, we visited back and forth, and we stayed close to A.J. after Lois died. We appreciated that Chuck and Bobbie came to our 50th Anniversary Celebration. We also had twins and cherish the pictures of our twins taken together. We cannot attend the service, but send our love and will be remembering everyone in prayer.

We love you, Gross Family. As cousins we enjoy your company and appreciate you. We have a new member of our family, Brooke Beauchamp (Luke’s wife} who works for the Make A Wish Foundation in Arizona. Luke is David’s son. David is Glen’s son. Glen is A.J.s cousin. Of course, A.J. was Chuck’s dad. Anyway, what a wonderful tribute to encourage donations to that organization. We will definitely follow-up on that opportunity.

Like my sister I too will miss my twin brother. I didn’t get to see much of him these past few years. I wish I had gotten to see more of him but that wasn’t possible. I will miss telling people that I had a twin and seeing the expression on their faces when they find out that we were fraternal and not identical twins. I will miss being one of two. I will miss you Chuck and I will always love you”
