Charles Smith

Condolences

  1. I am writing on behalf of those of us at Saint Michael’s Episcopal School (formally Saint Michael’s Academy), who would see Charles often when he would deliver Fed-Ex packages to us. He was always friendly and ready with a smile and/ or a joke. I was always happy to see him come through the door, becuase his pretended ‘bluster’ was such a poor mask for his humor and genuine good nature.
I am so sorry for your loss, and also sorry for those of us whose lives he made brighter by just coming in the door. Though we may not know you personally, please accept our condolences on his passing, and know that he is missed, even by strangers.

  2. Uncle Chuck,
Man, are you going to be missed! You were truly the life of the party! Your hilarious personality, goofy laugh, contagious smile and your sweet gentle spirit touched so many lives and will be remembered in our hearts forever. I am not sure what Dr. Jippy is going to do without his air guitar partner at the next family gathering. I know that Mamoleta and Grandaddy met you with loving arms and hugs and kisses as you entered the Gates of Heaven. Save a place for all of us***we will all be together again someday! I love you Chuck and thanks for the memories! Tracy XOXOXO

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Chuck’s family members. May he always be with you.

    With deepest sympathy,

    Sheryl Carr

    Suzanne Krupa

  6. We were so saddened to hear the news of Chuck’s death. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Chuck was a wonderful friend and lots of fun. I am so glad that I had the chance this past summer to reunite with Chuck and Sam as it meant so much to me. Chuck will always have a place in mine and Sally’s heart!

  7. Uncle Chuck, I’m so shocked and so sad to hear of your passing. I have lots of great memories of you, you found me my first car!
