Charlie Luther Hall, Jr.

Charlie Luther Hall, Jr., 76, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Spring Branch Medical Center in Houston. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2009, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bryan City Cemetery.

Charlie was born in Bryan, TX, to Charlie Sr. and Paralee Hall on April 1, 1933. He worked as an electrician, and he was an active member of Long Point Baptist Church in Houston. Charlie proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict.

He is preceded in death by his brother, William Laneheart, and his sister, Amanda Wall.

Survivors include his son Kevin Hall, of Houston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Doris Laneheart, of Bryan, TX; John and Lorene Laneheart, of Spring, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
