Clint Mooring, 86, of Anderson, Texas passed away on November 15, 2018 in Bryan, TX. Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, November 23, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, 3001 S. College Ave. in Bryan. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Anderson.

Clint Mooring was born at home, to Edna and Myles Mooring on January 8, 1932. He attended George Washington Carver High School in Navasota, TX and immediately began his formal education at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX.

He married Jewel Marie Mooring on April 27, 1976 in Los Angeles, CA. He was employed at Boeing Aircraft as an Engineer for over 20 years. Clint was a veteran of the Armed Forces (Air Forces) stationed in England for 4 years.

Clint Mooring is preceded in death by his father and mother, Myles and Edna Mooring, Sister Othella Mooring (Franklin), and both brothers Wendell and Leon Mooring.

Clint Mooring is survived by his wife Jewel Marie Mooring, and their children Alfonso Henely (Sylvia) of Fontana, CA and Kenneth Clint Mooring of Anderson, TX. Their grandchildren Royce Clardy of Bryan, TX, Ryan London of Los Angeles, CA and Ryan Henley of Los Angeles, CA. His great-children Kahni Clardy, Ka-llyah Clardy, Noah Clardy, Darrien Clardy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends who will mourn his passing yet, celebrate the wonderful life he lived.
