David Morales Sr.

A man of deep Catholic faith David Morales Sr. 83, departed his earthly life on Friday, July 21, 2017, in College Station. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm with the rosary at 6:30 pm on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Monday, July 31, 2017, at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at a later date as his cremains are returned to his native land of San Luis Potosi to be laid to rest along side his daughter Alma Nora Morales.

David Morales was born to his parents Crispin and Martina Garcia Morales in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico. He was a great man, who loved his family, faith, and we can’t leave out food! He was originally from San Luis Potosi, SLP, MX where he was the city accountant, played baseball for the city for 30 years, business owner and family man. He cared for extended family as a father figure always taking care of others. When he moved his family to Bryan, Texas he worked for many years and retired from Alenco. When he wasn’t working David enjoyed watching soccer and boxing. He was a good grandfather to his grandchildren who will miss their visits with him. David always had a strong love of animals and collect coins for many years. He was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.

Preceding him is deaths are his daughter Alma Nora Morales; his parents Crispin and Martina; sister Herlinda,

His survivors include sons David and Dulce Morales, Crispin and Marycruz Morales; his brother Benjamin Morales-Garcia; his sisters Amparo, Herminia, Leonor; his four grandchildren David, Sophia, Cristian, and Mateo; and a host of close friends.

Sobretodo ir a la tienda, cortar los duraznos del árbol del jardín y escuchar música en la sala de la casa! Sin olvidar las practicas de baile que nos echábamos con Norita (RIP)
