David Wade

David Wade, 82, of Bryan, passed away Friday November 13, 2015. His life will be celebrated with services beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015, at St. Michael’s Chapel, 2402 S. College Ave. in Bryan. A time for visitation will be from 12 p.m. noon until service time. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Born December 9, 1932, in Richards, Texas, David was the son of Benjamin and Lella Doughtie Wade. He enjoyed long drives, singing, and trips with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Rhonda Wade, Donna Thayer, Connie Keller; and brothers, John and Lawrence Wade.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Angela Wade, Randy Wade, Keith and Monica Wade; sister, Daisy Greer; grandchildren, Chelsea Brown, Michelle Prince, Gary Vernon, Brieanna Bomnskie, Marsha Bosquez, Kiesha Wade, Donnie Wade, Kayla Wade, Brian Wade, Angela Sontag, Christi Thayer, Toni Keller, Tessa Keller, Stephanie Moore; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

  1. I loved this man more than I can say. He had a heart as big as all outdoors. I knew him for well over 30 years and he was always the first to help anybody in any way that he could. His smile and laughter was always contagious. I will be keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers. He will never be forgotten he will live on thru the many memories and stories. My heart and love goes out to all the family and friends. R.I.P. (DAD) David we love you forever and always.
