Deanna Simank

Deanna Simank, 77, of Bryan, passed away Monday February 13, 2017.

Deanna was born July 10, 1939, in Taylor, Texas, to Luther “Buddy” and Berniece Johnson and was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service honoring her life is set for 2 p.m. Sunday March 5, 2017, at Peace Lutheran Church at 2201 Rio Grande Blvd. in College Station. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice Brazos Valley at 502 W. 26th St in Bryan, or to Peace Lutheran Church. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers in Bryan College Station.

  2. Although I have not known Deanna for a long time, it feels like I have know her for a lifetime. She has truly been a blessing to me. We shared so many family experiences and we were able to share the importance of God in our lives. I will miss our lunch times together but I know she is feasting at the table that Jesus has prepared.

  4. Harvey, we remember fondly our trips with you and Deanna on several cruises. She was a great addition to our trips and fond of Happy Hour just like me. Sympathy to you and your family on your loss.

  5. We are so sad to hear about Deanna’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and we feel blessed to have met her and Harvey. Deanna was a kind and loving lady who made us feel so welcome when we were new to the church. We weren’t able to have much contact in the last couple of years due to health but we never stopped thinking about Deanna and we were always so happy to see her ant talk with her when we saw her. RIP dear Deanna, we love you. Harvey take care of yourself and if there is ever anything we can do for you, give us a call.
