Delores Jean Ryan

Delores Jean Ryan left this world today to be with her Lord at 1:50 pm on March 19, 2013.

Delores J. Ryan was born in Abilene Texas May 30, 1937, to Jack and Olive Kissinger. After graduating from Abilene high, she married Gerald Max Betcher (deceased), and gave birth to two children Katherine Gail (living in Spring, Texas), and Gerald Glenn (deceased in 1988). She remarried Dr. O. E. Ryan DC in 1970 and the family moved to Bryan, Texas in 1973. Delores worked with her husband, Dr. Ryan, at their office from 1973 until her death. She was active in the Lions club and her work at the office for many years until she became ill last year. She was also an avid WWE fan. For those that don’t know what WWE is, its WRESTLING. She leaves behind her husband of 43 years Dr. O. E. Ryan DC, our daughter “Kathy Evans”, our Grandson “Aaron Evans” and his wife “Crystal Evans”, our Granddaughter “Bridgette Nicole Hood” and her husband “Anthony Hood”, all of Spring Texas.

Delores never wanted a “Memorial” service; she wanted a “Celebration” of her death as she was going to meet her Lord and savior. She will be buried next to our son Gerald Glenn in the College Station cemetery. Delores’s two favorite songs were: Disney’s song, “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” and Donna Fargo’s – “The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA”. Whenever you hear either of these songs you can celebrate her life again. In lieu of flowers make a donation to your favorite charity, “which she hopes is the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Texas”, or “The Brazos Valley Cowboy Church building fund” in Bryan, Texas.
