Donna M Baker

Donna Mae Baker was born July 16th, 1937 in San Diego, California, and passed away on Jan. 30th, 2011, in Crockett, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., February 19, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Centerville.
Donna moved here approximately 3 years ago to be close to family due to failing health conditions. Donna was a real estate agent and broker. She enjoyed entertaining as daisy the clown, loved going to the beach, sewing, gardening, dancing, traveling, writing, and spending time with her family.
Donna was preceded in death by her father Charles A. Baker; son, Robert C. Connors; and nephew, Jerry Chappell.
Survivors include her mother, Una Baker, of Sutter Creek, CA; sister, Peggy J. Chappell, of Ione, CA; daughters, Margarette Bodde (Darrell), of Buffalo, TX, and Connie Bonilla(Larry), of Buffalo, TX, Diane Rico(Michael), of San Diego, TX; son, Michael Connors, of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Charlotte Petersen, Kathy Taylor, Karen Doyal, Kristi Stapleton, Cassie Crowley, Kimberlie Britt, Celeste Charanza, Cary Rico, Chelsea Bonilla, Anthony Rico, Benjamin Rico, Cody Bonilla; 17 great grandchildren; 4 Great-great grandchildren; and one niece and nephew.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for care provided by all staff at Whitehall Nursing Center in Crockett.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Whitehall Rehab Department or First United Methodist Church in Centerville.

  1. Your mother and I have the same name and both of us were born in 1937. I found out about her when her Dr and Hospital charges appeared on my insurance. I went to visit her several times and even played Bingo with her once. I’m sorry to hear of her passing. I too am in real estate with Coldwell Banker Pat Dickey Realtors in Crockett. I hope all your memories are good ones.
