Dorothy Buchan age 84 of College Station, TX, passed away Thursday November 20th, 2014 at Hospice Inpatient of Brazos Valley. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
Dorothy was born February 21st, 1930 to the parents of John and Mary Leda. Dorothy grew up in South Bend, Indiana. She was one of twelve children. Dorothy enjoyed reading, playing euchre and bingo and was an avid Notre Dame and Aggie fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughters.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband John Kluszczynski and recently widowed by James Buchan.
Dorothy leaves behind a brother Chester, two sisters Nancy and Lucy, As well as her 6 children James and wife Peggy, John, Sandra, Janice and husband Steven, Anne, Joe and wife Mimi, Three grandchildren, Dana, Steven and Erin, Two great-grandchildren Natalie and Kenadee.
The family request that memorial contributions be made in Dorothy’s name to Hospice Brazos Valley at 502 W. 26th St., Bryan, TX 77803.
