Dorothy Glover

Dorothy Alice Moffatt Blackmon Glover, 83, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. Funeral services celebrating her life will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center at 3001, S College Ave. in Bryan. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Dorothy was born August 30, 1933, in Prospect, Texas, to Oscar Harper Moffatt, Sr. and Minnie Ola Crowson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Oscar Harper Moffatt, Jr. and wife Bessy Barret, Herdan Crowson Moffatt and wife Evelyn Crouch Moffatt; grandson, David Alan Russell; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins now welcoming her home.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Lynn Blackmon, Susanne Blackmon Russell; sons, Edward Allen Blackmon, John Earl Blackmon and wife Pamela Hass Blackmon; three grandchildren, Michele Blackmon Gray and husband Brian, John Edward Blackmon and wife Rebecca Hagen, and Jessica Russell Williams; five great grandchildren, Alex Gray, Angela Gray, Tristin Hurley, Gabriela Aronowicz and Shelby Russell; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
