Ellen Collins

Ellen Dale Collins, 76, of Bryan, passed away Monday June 12, 2017. Her life will be celebrated with funeral services set for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan. Interment will follow at Martins Prairie Cemetery in Grimes County. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.

Ellen was born October 17, 1940 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Danis and Bernice Young. As a resident of Bryan for over 50 years, she enjoyed taking day trips, tending to her plants and flowers. She also loved spending time outdoors and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her son, Duane Dean Coneley; and her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Collins; sons, Randy Coneley and wife Robin, Gary Coneley; brothers, Burt Young and wife Dee, Lindsey Young and wife Jo Ann; grandchildren, Robert Coneley, Natasha Coneley, Cameron Coneley, Richard Stowe, Natasha Hinton; and her sister-in-law, Eileen Kuvlesky.
